NVDACon 2016: Keynote statistics, last session still remains
Ladies and gentlemen,
Thank you everyone for coming to Keynote presentation today. We had 45 people in attendance, and combined with our Skype audience, we had close to 60 folks who’ve tuned in to hear Mick and Jamie talk about reflections on NVDA development for the last ten years.
As I mentioned before start of Keynote, the Keynote session was not the end of NVDACon – we do have one more session, and that is the closing forum and testimonials, to be held at 16:00 UTC on April 30, 2016. We’ll listen to various testimonies, plan ahead for the future and officially close NVDACon 2016.
Thanks. The recording of the Keynote session will be made available soon. Cheers, Joseph

Its unlikely I will make it tomorrow either. Will have to wait for archives, I also understand from the group that there was an after party I am not surre if it was ever recorded but I'd like to listen to that if it was just for kicks. So far I have enjoyed all the addon sessions as well as the f123 session though I knew about most of that as well as the employment session which I found informative. Back in the day at uni jaws was pushed hard! I do question with addons why we need a tip of the day addon as I have always turned it off and reguard tips as more spam to disable though. Not all tthhe sessions were top quality but from what I saw of the conference it seems like it was something really good.

That's why it's an add-on.

An excellent convention all round. Lots of Informative, creative ideas; thanks for letting us be a part of it. Shaun, a Tip of the Day addon, like the control usage assistant, is something that people who aren't you could benefit from. I also like my screen reader as terse and to-the-point as possible, but part of the reason NVDA is crawling, rather than flourishing in the job and study sectors is people don't know how to work with it. Even the manual, excellent though it is, is written by a technically-minded person. Addons provide huge scope for expanding the reach of NVDA along with training materials.
