Invitation: 2018 NVDACon Korea, July 7, 2018
Dear NVDA community in South Korea and beyond,
On behalf of NVDA Korean translations team, I would like to invite you to join us at 2018 NVDACon Korea, to be held on July 7, 2018 at Joseph Lee’s TeamTalk server (josephsl.net). As this is a language-specific conference, this meeting will be done in Korean (with some English included).
Started in 2013, NvDACon Korea is a meeting of Korean-speaking NVDA users, developers, and translators in South Korea and beyond. This one to two-hour meeting features reports about NVDA’s Korean translation and promotion of the screen reader in South Korea and beyond, as well as announcements from the international NVDA community that’ll affect Korean users.
The 2018 NVDACon Korea builds on NVDACon International 2018 in bringing topics from the just concluded conference to Korean speakers. As such, the conference theme is “Future-Proofing NVDA in South Korea and Beyond”, and will feature reports about NVDA 2018.2 release, as well as a project going on in South Korea that’ll open many opportunities for NVDA users over there. Also, as this is the last NVDACon Korea conference chaired by Joseph Lee who is also retiring as Korean translations manager, he will also give a farewell address as the community elects new translation manager and conference chair.
If you speak Korean, or are interested in how NVDA is doing on South Korea and beyond, be sure to come to 2018 NVDACon Korea.
